HEALING : Made it easy!

Recently, I got the chance to read this beautiful book named, “HEALING IS THE NEW HIGH” in which one can unlock many layers through which inner healing and awareness of the true self can be achieved. One might ask, “Is healing required at every stage or is it adequate to have healed once in a lifetime after the suffering?” The answer to that is pretty simple. As one faces different rounds of low moments, self-doubts and negative vibrations, it’s crucial to work on the healing process as well and that too multiple times, to understand about the difference between real intuition, traumatic responses and insecurities, if any.

Before beginning, we need to understand our body and talking about our body- we have 7 bodies, namely-

  1. The physical body : the body we perceive
  2. The etheric body : the body closely linked with our emotions
  3. The astral body : the body associated with reason, intellect, logical thinking
  4. The mental body : the body consisting intuition, deeper mental power
  5. The spiritual body : the body about connection (with true self)
  6. The cosmic body : the body concerned with going beyond the connection with oneself, experiencing love and sense of aliveness
  7. The nirvanic body : the body linked with ultimate freedom and liberation where you have the control over everything and can feel free and calm even in the chaos

Trauma doesn’t exist in vacuum and to overcome that, we need to work with all the seven bodies, not just one. Our various limiting beliefs that have developed from traumas and fears are needed to be dealt with self- evaluation from time to time. How? By the application of different approaches and reparenting ourself and our thoughts in a way that strengthen us in the long run.

Healing is pivotal at various levels. Wounds that have built deep within us and we neglect them and move on in life thinking that they will vanish with the passage of time is one of the sickest approaches. After going through a traumatic experience, the part of our brain that is devoted to ensuring our survival (deep below our rational brain) isn’t very good at denial.

Long after the traumatic experience is over, it may be reactivated at the slightest hint of danger mobilising disturbed brain circuits secreting massive amount of stress hormones. Consequently, unpleasant emotions, intense physical sensations and impulse and aggressive actions takes place.

When something hurts us, the physical body holds onto the pain. You’ve got to be willing to notice every aspect of what’s going on with you, to develop tools that allow you to focus, become present and acknowledge how you’re doing in this moment. The main motto here is to identify unconscious limiting beliefs that are holding us back and work on them with a different perspective. The truth is, self-healing is chaotic. One has to be patient while dealing with emotional wounds.

Taking charge of your inner healing is indeed one of the greatest forms of self-love. In addition to that, analysing your own vibrations are essential as this is the energy you put out in the world. During the process of healing, one might feel many vibrational conflicts in everything they do. Some of the reaction and responses will be confusing as it either comes from the trauma or the intuition. The trauma that you faced in the childhood (it can be in many forms that made you feel less of what you’re, your constant efforts to prove yourself, energy drainage, and much more) could be governing the way you handle experiences and your emotions right now. Thus, it also tries to avoid being hurt again, at all costs. Trauma feeds the fearful, wounded aspect of the ego and we make decisions based on the previous sufferings. Intuition, on the other hand, guides our decisions from a place of love and steadiness. Always remember, trauma leads to anxious, confusing and fearful assumptions and decisions whereas intuition shows clearer vision, liberated and calm sense of knowing.

After learning about these terms, you are required to set healthy boundaries for yourselves. It isn’t a way to get rid of people instead to keep them in your life without destroying your inner peace. Your personal space, physically, mentally and emotionally demands you to set your standards, limits and disrespect you won’t accept from anyone while maintaining healthy relations. When you keep on showing respect for the limits you’ve set, eventually the people around you will realise that they’ve got to match that respect.

“When we carry our trauma with us it’s almost impossible not to share it- even if we try to hide it and pretend it was never there. Because that hiding, that suppression, is in itself an expression of trauma that can be transferred to other people.” – Vex King

The mind is pretty flexible. It always wants to learn, and it’s willing to change from time to time. As one struggles hard to fight against the limiting beliefs that halt them from doing good and grow, the mind is required to focus on the belief and rework on that. Until and unless, one doesn’t work on the perspective they have been consoling themselves from a long period of time, it is difficult to break the cycle. Reparenting is essentially about reshaping our capacity for learning. It’s about welcoming new experiences and making choices about what we integrate into our belief system about ourselves and our lives, and what we experience and let go as ‘just as experience.’

If you’re calm and connected with who you really are despite the messed up situations, you can be peaceful and connected to the energy of the Universe. Healing isn’t only about healing- it’s about your entire life. If you’re seeking success and have goals to achieve, it’s. vital to bring all your focus on your inner self to study about your true potential. Recovering from your emotional wounds is an important step if you want to change your life in a massive way. Besides this, you are well aware of the fact that you won’t feel good all the time. The genuine kind of freedom is actually about acceptance, and a calm sense of knowing. Your ultimate strength is knowing that you can return to equilibrium; that your true, peaceful self is always there and you can handle the situations and always come back to your true core.

Off days are absolutely fine. What’s crucial is that you get back in touch with your capacity to heal yourself. Physical activity and exercise is still one of the quickest ways to relief yourself from the emotional baggage that you carry directly or indirectly.

At last, don’t just crave for hollow, temporary, artificial highs as they last for a very short period of time and you try to get through the days. Once you realise the soul will never be satisfied by such useless deeds, you’ll learn about a deeper connection and purpose of your living. Serve others, create happiness and heal numerous times you feel it is required to. You’ve got all the tools and you’re capable to bring your attention to your inner self.

It’s always about cherishing the journey and not only the destination, remember!
